Reaching seven villages in four days
In just four days our team visited seven remote villages in Morocco, delivering over 1,000 food parcels to families in need in time for Eid al-Adha. Each parcel was carefully prepared with essential staples so that no one went hungry during this sacred time.
Alongside the food we distributed more than 350 sets of clothes and quality shoes to children, many of whom rarely receive such gifts. Each child was given a full Eid gift, a new pair of shoes and a set of clothes, so they could celebrate with dignity, joy and a sense of belonging. We also provided zakat-aligned financial support directly to some of the most disadvantaged households, prioritising cases of severe poverty.
Maximising every penny
To stretch every pound, the team made two separate trips to Casablanca, setting off at 6am each time for the five-hour drive to reach the best markets and wholesalers. We visited dozens of shops, compared prices and negotiated directly with vendors rather than settling for the first offer.
Those savings meant we delivered more aid than planned. In the final village we still had enough stock to hand out extra clothing to children in need, so nothing was wasted. This was not just a delivery. It was a mission driven by sincerity, transparency and a deep sense of responsibility to you, our supporters.
